When the media says black, you think...
Being black is not a pastime; it is not a style; and it damn sure is not a subject of ridicule! How long must you believe everything the media tells you about one culture. Understand one thing, there's black and then there's BLACK. One defines weakness and sorrow. The other defines strength and power. You decide which category you fit in.

In other news...
It has been brought to my attention that Morehouse College, MC (located in Atlanta, GA and founded in 1867) has accepted 750+ young BLACK men into their freshman class. Making history with the highest number of BLACK men to be enrolled in a freshman class at MC.
This is awesome.
Wait, something isn't quite right. Usually when there is a huge mass of black people congregating there are police and media coverage. I see neither. In fact, these images look as though they were captured by a cellular device. Humph. I wonder why this event did not reach nationwide and or interenational news coverage. I don't understand as to why it didn't.

I'm thinking...
{Gasp} I know why. It's becuase these young men are doing something positive. Something that is going to ultimately better their lives. Plus it is considered civil. And for some reason the media will not cover a civil gathering of young BLACK men marching together to further their education. Apparently this is not good enough news.

Well, I would like to say, Congratulations to the 750+ BLACK students beginning at Morehouse College this semester 2015.
To the enrollees, as long as you keep your mind right you will graduate and become successful in whatever you place your goals on. Keep up the good work.
