MPsays, Don't Leave Me.

Written by Mister Promo | August 12, 2015

"Don't leave, don't leave me girl. Please stay with me tonight. Stay... Stay... Stay right here with me forever."

- Blackstreet
What exactly does this mean? I'm thinking, whatever the reason your partner is leaving in the first place must mean that, to them, things aren't working. And if you are begging for them to stay and they succumb to your pleads and actually stay, they aren't really staying because they want to, they are staying because they feel pity for you. If it were me (on the "begging" end), I would be harsh saying something like, "You're leaving? Don't forget your sh^t." Or, "For real? After all of this and you're just going to leave? Well GTFO!"
There are many times we think we are seeing things in technicolor all the while in actuality it was straight black and white. I'm left, you're right. I'm down, you're up. I would give anything to be a sitting duck while you would prefer to see the world. We are opposite, yet I expect us to work.

No. LoL!

Am I horrible? Probably.

At this point do I care? Not really.

Someone once told me, "I'm in my 40's. I was born here, raised here, created a family here and eventually I will die here. But I am completely content with that. You, however, was not born here. You may have been raised here, but you will definitely not die here."

In other words, he was saying GTFO while you still can.
Well, I plan to do just that.

Whatever the true reason is for your partner departing is now their problem. It may seem as though they have the power over you in this situation. But they don't. In fact, they're the one who is staying. While you're the one who is actually leaving them.
